It seems that Nintendo’s next console will be more powerful than both the Xbox One and PS4 according to Twitter user @IndieGamerChick.
The controller reports are to the best of my knowledge bogus.

The horsepower rumors are true.
In addition to the Nintendo NX’s power, IndieGamerChick also mentioned that all of the leaked controllers, to her knowledge, are fakes. We already knew the latest controller, though convincing, was faked thanks to a YouTube video.
All I know is that "more powerful than PS4/Xbone" is *technically* accurate, that it's easy to develop for and optimized for gaming.

The Nintendo NX is also said to be easy to develop for and is optimized for gaming. IndieGamerChick reports developers are telling her that it has some of the easiest development tools yet for a console, and this should hopefully attract developers both big and small to the platform. While she couldn’t give away any specifics, IndieGamerChick did mention she was happy with how indie games will be treated for the NX.
The more significant thing I'm told is that NX is optimized for gaming and super easy to develop for, "best development tools ever."

As for what the controller will ACTUALLY end up being like, the only clues we have so far are reports of there being multiple ways to control a game. That’s already the case with the Wii U, with players having the option to use the gamepad, nunchucks, Pro controller or even a 3DS for certain games.
As for when the NX will actually come out, reports seem to suggest we’ll be getting Nintendo’s next console by the end of the year. Many are anticipating a reveal around this year’s E3 and manufacturer Foxconn has revealed itwill begin manufacturing for Nintendo starting this summer. If all this is true, a release around the holidays this year makes sense.
