It was back in 2016 when Pokémon GO was launched and everyone finally had the chance to catch them all. At that time, most of the Pokémon encountered were from the Kanto region. If you're one of those who want to experience it again, the good news is that it's now possible. The Adamant Time event starts December 11 and runs all the way to December 15.
During this period, Pokémon that were commonly encountered in 2016 are back and returning to roam the wild. These are Vulpix, Ponyta, Krabby, and Voltorb. That's not all since there's also an increased chance of encountering a Shiny version.
Trainers are also going to love the event bonus which is getting thrice the amount of XP for catching Pokémon.
Here are the other activities that trainers can expect during this event:
- These Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild:
- Bulbasaur

Lucky Exchange
During the event, the number of guaranteed Lucky Pokémon a Trainer get to receive in a trade has been increased from 15 to 25! In addition, once the event starts, those who trade a Pokémon that has been in their Pokémon storage since 2018 is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokémon until the limit is reached. This change is permanent.
Ditto's Here
