Pre-registration for the upcoming puzzle game Pucca Puzzle Adventure is now live, beginning today, December 27, available on Google Play and the App Store. The game is being developed by Takeone Company, the same studio that worked on the BTS World mobile game.
To celebrate the pre-registration going live, all those who pre-register get 1,600 gems as well as 100 tokens, which can be used to draw legendary characters.
In the game, the main character, Pucca, of course, goes on an adventure with the goal of beating Dong King, this greedy villain seems to have a scheme to take over the world. There are more than 100 adorable and unique characters, which includes those from the original animated cartoon. The game offers match-three puzzles that can be solved through the strategic use of elemental properties. There are also RPG elements where players can clear stages and level up their characters.
There are different missions for everyone to enjoy through various game modes. That means players can take on the Boss Raid, Puzzle Quest, Challenge Mode, and Village. With the slogan of "Break Free," the game makes solving puzzles more fun with exciting animations and sound effects.
A Fun Franchise
The game is based on the Pucca media franchise from South Korea. It had its start in January 2000 through Flash animation. It was then adapted to a TV series that premiered in 2006 with 26 episodes; the show was focused on the titular character Pucca. She is the niece of three Korean men who run a Chinese-style restaurant called "Goh-Rong" located in a small village in the mountains known as Sooga Village. One of the main themes is that Pucca is in love with a ninja named Garu, and for some reason, manages to defeat him in combat and unintentional competition.
Dong King Restaurant was introduced during the third season of the show. The main plot revolves around the rivalry that Goh-Rong has with this new local restaurant. Ring Ring, who had previously been introduced in previous seasons, is revealed in this new arc to be the daughter of Dong King.
