Predecessor Patch v0.9 is now available and it adds a new gun-toting hero.
Formidable Gunslinger
TwinBlast is a new mobile ranged hero in Predecessor. Armed with a pair of powerful pistols that can transform into a bigger gun, as well as a grenade that can slow enemies down, he is not someone you want to mess with!
Let's start with his passive, Gunslinger. Using an ability will cause TwinBlast's next two basic attacks to benefit from a 40% increased total attack speed. This is pretty helpful when a dying foe only needs one or two shots to kill.
Speaking of basic attacks, pressing the left-mouse button prompts him to fire two projectiles at the enemy, dealing 24 (+50% bonus physical power) physical damage and applying on-hit effects at 50% effectiveness, including omnivamp/lifesteal. But don't forget that he gets increased total attack speed from his passive. So, you need to proc it to maximize on-hit effects.
For TwinBlast's first ability, Vaporize, he charges and fires two superheated piercing projectiles in the target's direction with each dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+40% bonus physical power) (+60% magical power) physical damage and applying on-hit effects to all targets hit at 60% effectiveness. Use this whenever multiple enemies are lined up for maximum results.
Enemies have little to no chance of running away thanks to TwinBlast's Rocket Dash, where he leaps toward a targeted direction when used. Although it has a long cooldown (20/19/18/17/16 seconds), it can be reduced by 0.5 seconds when damaging enemy heroes with a basic attack or ability.
As mentioned earlier, TwinBlast can hurl a grenade at his opponents by clicking the right-mouse button. The Vortex Grenade explodes on impact and deals 20/35/50/65/80 (+100% total physical power) physical damage in a small area. It also slows down enemies by 15% for 0.75 seconds.
For the grand finale, TwinBlast transforms his weapon into fully automatic machine guns with Ventilate. Shortly after the transformation, he unleashes a barrage of bullets over three seconds, dealing 12/20/38 damage per bullet (+20% bonus physical power) (+15% magical power), for a total of 300/500/700 (+500% bonus physical power) (+375% magical power) at 25 bullets.
TwinBlast is a formidable hero with enough firepower to take opponents down with ease. When they try to run away, he can throw a Vortex Grenade to slow them down and finish them off with Vaporize. If those combos aren't enough, he can follow them up with two empowered basic attacks for a sure kill.
