Predecessor has a new hero, courtesy of the game's latest update. Morigesh has arrived from the swamp and is now ready to force her foes into submission.
The Fierce Force of the Forest
Morigesh is a ranged hero in Predecessor that uses her swarm to damage enemies. Her passive makes her damaging abilities apply Pestilence for three seconds, dealing 0.5% (+0.15% per 75 Magical Power) of the target's max health as magical damage every 0.5 seconds. Moreover, hitting targets affected by Pestilence will cause the damage-over-time debuff to refresh its duration, as well as spread to nearby enemies. This is a great way to push lanes and disrupt team fights, causing enemies to run to their healers more often.
With her primary ability, Morigesh throws a hive of insects that explodes, dealing 60/105/150/195/240 (+45% Magical Power) magical damage. On top of that, damaging a marked enemy target slows them down by 20% for three seconds.
Her secondary ability is called Swarm. When activated, Morigesh becomes the swarm and gains 20% increased movement speed for three seconds. Passing through enemies deals 80/115/150/185/220 (+60% Magical Power) magical damage and restores 5/10/15/20/25 (+5% Magical Power) health. What's more, passing through a marked target restores eight times more health. This ability allows Morigesh to stay on the battlefield longer.
Speaking of marked targets, her alternate ability is called Mark. This will have her choose an unfortunate foe to deal 70/105/140/175/210 (+45% Magical Power) magical damage and transform her Voodoo Doll into their image. All of Morigesh's abilities gain additional effects against marked targets.
But more importantly, marked targets can be targeted by her ultimate, Curse. After a short delay, she summons a horde of insects to stab a marked target, dealing 250/400/550 (+75% Magical Power) magical damage. The mark on the affected enemy is removed upon casting this ability.
All in all, Morigesh is a hero that players would want to avoid on the battlefield. That's because enemies affected by her mark gain additional negative effects from her other abilities.
Additionally, Morigesh can utilize her Swarm ability for offense and defense. She can activate it and run through enemies, damaging them while restoring her HP in the process. If things go awry, the movement speed bonus allows her to get out of sticky situations.
Her Curse can be quite damaging, especially if Morigesh players stack much Magical Power.
But what do you think? Do you deem Morigesh as a legitimate threat in Predecessor?
