A Quick Look At Pokémon Go Shiny Sentret

The first week of the Ultra Bonus in Pokémon Go has just arrived. As expected, it introduces the shiny variant of the Pokémon known as Sentret.

In case you are wondering, here is how Sentret looks in Niantic’s hit mobile game:

Based on the image above, Sentret goes from brown to beige, the same beige found in Furret’s striped pattern. As for Furret, which is Sentret’s evolution, it goes from shades of brown all the way to magenta.

Interestingly, the shiny rate for your wild encounters in the game is believed to be roughly one in 450. In other words, you have to have a little bit of luck in order to chance upon this shiny Pokémon Go variant.

The Ultra Bonus is meant to give players a variety of bonuses, all of which are expected to be in the game throughout the month of September. Week One, in particular, will give players the opportunity to catch Unown forms U, L, T, R, and A from 10 km Eggs. At the same time, players will have to fight through Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in Raid Battles.

Niantic confirmed that Pokémon players have never seen before in Eggs will finally be added to the list of species that can hatch from them. This one, in particular, is without a doubt an interesting move from the studio.

By the time Week Two starts, players will be able to hatch Farfetch’d, which is a region-locked Pokémon. Included in the list of region-locked pocket monsters are Tauros, Mr. Mime, and Kangaskhan. All of them are expected to be hatched from 7 km eggs with the chance of hatching their Shiny versions all the way until Week Three. Plus, players can have the chance to go up against Deoxys and all of its forms in regular Raid Battles.

As for Week Three, players can fight Mewtwo with the exclusive move called Psystrike. What is more, they can get a chance to capture the Pokémon’s shiny version. Niantic also confirmed the upcoming arrival of Pokémon from Pokémon Black and White, including Klink, which will appear in Raids. Incubators are expected to be twice as effective during the Ultra Bonus duration.
