Tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege received a critical Operation Health update to fast track a lot of the issues that plague the game, including technical improvements that aim to make servers more stable and reliable. Sadly, Ubisoft being Ubisoft, Siege players today have reported yet another inconvenient server outage.

This isn't Ubisoft's first rodeo (that obviously is not a good thing) and its Support Twitter was quick to ask fans for their patience as it investigates the server issue.

In its Ubi forums, support staff announced, "We are aware of issues impacting a number of our online services. Our technical team is investigating and working on resolving this as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will continue to update this thread with any new information."
After a server outage that lasted approximately five hours, most players are still struggling to connect, although a handful have finally started to report servers are restored.

Despite what looks to be the tail-end of the outage, it's still frustrating to experience these down periods. Despite improvements made in the initial phases of Operation Health, it's clear Ubisoft has a long way to go before Rainbow Six Siege is halfway decent.
