Two-dimensional god game Reus is heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, SOEDESCO Publishing announced on Wednesday, but we don’t have an official timeline for the game’s console debut yet. On the plus side, there’s a new Reus gameplay trailer out to introduce the god game to those who missed it when it hit PC back in 2013.

In Reus , you control up to four giant deities, each attuned to a different environment and able to shape and mold the lifeless, featureless planet you’re given at the start of each game. It’s up to you to distribute natural resources, or lack thereof, by placing vegetation, mountains, deserts and bodies of water. Once the planet is inhabited, the giants will also help build mines, introduce new animal life and even punish local villagers when they start to rebel. As time goes on, your giants become more powerful, eventually gaining the ability to evolve the ecosystems you’ve created.

By default, each Reus match is only 30 minutes long; however, players can also unlock 60 and 120 minute modes by playing the game. The game also includes beginner and freeplay offerings, but players can’t earn achievements or trophies when playing without time constraints. Sadly, Reus doesn’t include multiplayer support, so you won’t ever get to see how your giant-wrangling and planet-building skills stack up against your friends’.

For a closer look at Reus , take a few minutes to check out the new console port announcement trailer from SOEDESCO Publishing. Then head down to the comments section and let us know if you’re thinking about buying Reus when it heads to PS4 and Xbox One later this year.

Reus is in development for PS4 and Xbox One. The game is currently available on PC and heads to consoles sometime in Q3 2016.
