A few Simmers in the forums have noticed Tuesday’s update made two male hairstyles available to female Sims, but why wasn’t it in the patch notes? Look very closely at SimGuruGnome’s sign off at the very end because there’s more to it than meets the eye.
Here’s to hoping your days are counted in Sim days (because then you’d get to live 3,011,903,080,114,070,519,031,513,091,407 nanoseconds on average)
Sims Community member, Mork, cracked the code and it spells out ‘ CAS Changes Coming.’ This would be a little bit more suspicious if SimGuruSarah didn’t promptly delete a recent tweet of a male Sim wearing a female hairstyle and necklace, hinting that unisex CAS features are one the way. When asked how this is possible, the developer responded, “We can modify existing hairs to work on different ages/genders. We did it in TS3 too.”
A very interesting exchange in a Sims Reddit thread confirms SimGuruGnome’s mystery patch hint wasn’t just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. “There’s totally nothing else going on with that number. Nothing at all,"
Another clue was left in the 15-second teaser video released in April. A female Sim sits at a table with the Tragic Clown rocking a male hairstyle. SimGuruDrake confirmed the teaser video contains hints to patches that will release from now through June.
