Snapchat users are reporting mass problems with the back flash not working after the latest update, but is there a fix?
If you are wondering “Why won’t my back camera flash work in Snapchat,” sadly, you aren’t alone. In the last several hours an epidemic of Snapchat users have been reporting issues with the back flash on their Snapchat cameras not working at all.
Several people have reported that the problem seems to have started after they installed the latest update, which was released on Thursday. The update was a small one which, ironically, was meant to bring bug fixes and improvements. Unfortunately, it seems to have added a problem while fixing others. So far the problem seems to mainly be affecting iPhone or iOS users. Android users may be experiencing issues as well, though.
How To Fix Back Camera Flash On Snapchat
So, is there a fix for the Snapchat back flash not working? At this point, there don’t appear to be any working solutions. Users who have enquired about the back flash problem on Snapchat’s official Twitter support account have been told that the company is looking into the issue, but have yet to offer any solutions to fix it.
A number of users have reported trying to uninstall the Snapchat app and reinstall it. They’ve tried closing the app and restarting their phones. So far nothing has helped.
As Snapchat is aware of the problem and actively investigating it, I’m sure we’ll see some kind of fix update release before too long. Until then, make sure to take your snaps in well-lit spaces or else they are likely not to turn out so well.
As soon as more information becomes available about what is causing the back camera flash problem on Snapchat and when a fix might be available, we’ll be sure to update this post.
