We’ve been covering the casting, principal photography and editing of Star Wars: Episode VIII so exhaustively that it’s easy to forget that we know very nearly nothing concrete about the movie. Sure, we’ve got rumors coming out our Carkoon pits, but still no trailer, no footage and no subtitle (except phonies… so many phonies).
But now that Rogue One is out in theaters (our review) Disney/Lucasfilm finally seems ready to open those Episode VIII floodgates. And our very first look at the movie will come courtesy of Mark Hamill: Luke Skywalker himself. Pop Culture Quest, Mark Hamill’s Comic-Con HQ web series, announced today that they’ll “soon” be revealing a “first look” at Star Wars: Episode VIII.
What is a “first look” and when is “soon”? No clue. But I guess we’ll know… soon.
