It’s been awhile since Marvel’s Avengers Alliance game got a significant update, and now we have the first event of 2016 in Spec Ops 32.
The latest Spec Ops in Avengers Alliance centers around the Red She-Hulk and the Leader capturing her, which you can imagine does not sit well with General Ross AKA the Red Hulk.
Red She-Hulk is the reward hero for completing all of the Spec Op 32 tasks but she won’t be alone. There is a lockbox hero and Bucky Barnes, The Winter Soldier will be joining your Agents’ team.
But before we get into particulars, let’s dive into what the Red She-Hulk and the Winter Soldier can do starting with Betty herself. And you can check out the Patch Notes, here.
Red She-Hulk is a generalist and has the passive Beat the Heat. This allows for Betty to protect against single target energy and radiation attacks. Betty also has the Gamma Girl passive that lets her gain Gamma Energy when she’s attacked and this makes her immune to radiation effects.
Gamma Energy increases Attack, Defense, Accuracy and Evasion and can even restore some health and stamina when gained.
Body Blow is a single target attack that applies Exhausted to the enemy and a stack of Gamma Energy.
Cage Fight applies Flanked, Staggered and Off-Balance to the enemy while giving a stack of Gamma Energy to Red She-Hulk.
Curb Stomp is an AOE ground attack that applies Aftershock, Hobbled and Winded to the enemies. And, as you can guess, applies Gamma Energy to Red She-Hulk.
Savage Strike has Exploit Opportunity, Ignore Defense and Unleash Anger that consumes all stacks of Gamma Energy to deal extra damage.
Winter Soldier is an infiltrator that actually has some special notes that go along with him and the mines he uses. For one, Fixer and Winter Soldier can detonate each other's mines. Winter Soldiers magnetic mines will replace Fixers regular mines when used one after the other and the Magnetica Mines can be detonated by Magnetism from allies like Magneto and Rescue.
Winter Soldier’s passives are Cold War, which gives allies gain Advantage, Dealing Increased damage to enemies with Locked-out moves.
Counter Offensive lets Winter Soldier’s Counter-Attacks and Follow-Up Attacks deal increased damage. And Sense of Control makes Bucky immune to Delirium Effects like Mind Control and Disoriented.
Aimed Shot applies Pain, Hobbled to one enemy and gives Winter Soldier, Retaliation, which allows Bucky to Counter-attacks when an ally is attacked.
Revolutionary Strike applies Reduced Potential, which gives a chance to Lock Out Melee, Range, Buff, or Debuff Abilities and Revolution to Winter Soldier. Revolution lets Bucky join in on an ally’s single-target attack.
Magnetized Mines is a multi-function attack that allows for a few attacks. The first is Magnetized Blast Mine that targets all enemies and when detonated gains Paragon Exploiter, Exploit Attrition and ignores defense.
Magnetized Irradiated Frag Mine targets all enemies and applies 1-2 applications of Radiation Exposure and Bleeding when detonated.
Magnetized Chemical Mine targets all enemies and when detonated, applies paragon debuffs and incapacitation.
Detonate is just as the name suggests, it detonates any and all mines on the field, which includes the Fixer’s.
Knife Assault is the final action for Winter Soldier and has Brutal Strike and ignores defense. The attack also applies Fatal Blow, which defeats normal enemies with less than 20% health and greatly damages bosses with less than 20% health.
