Dominic Purcell, now recovered from a brutal injury on set months back, is back to teasing tidbits about Fox’s reboot, Prison Break Season 5. The Legends of Tomorrow actor shared a photo on Instagram teasing that his character, Lincoln Burrows, may be heading back inside prison walls to break out his brother. This is a role reversal from past seasons where it was always Michael to the rescue, and it appears Lincoln may even use his brother’s tattoo-covered strategy to break out of a Yemeni prison.
Weeks ago, Purcell revealed Michael somehow miraculously cheated death by electrocution, but then got caught up with ISIS. When he wanted out, they sent him to prison in Yemen in hopes some time behind bars would change his mind. Little do they know Michael’s willpower has been tested many times before.
Last month when the first Prison Break trailer dropped, fans also spotted new tattoos on Michael's arm. If you watched Season 4, you remember he finally got the blueprints from Fox River removed.
We’ll have to wait until Comic Con in late-July to find out more about Michael and Linc’s new tattoos. Purcell hasn't confirmed the tattoos are indeed for Prison Break, and not just personal project.
