Valorant has been out for a few days now and the game has improved a lot from what we saw before launch. Developer Riot Games added in multiple new features and content updates such as a new agent, a new map, and a new game mode with Valorant’s full launch. With 11 agents available to use, the game is a bit challenging for players who haven’t played the beta.
Sage is the only healer agent in Valorant and she requires a lot of skill to master. Your main objective as Sage is to heal and resurrect your teammates, which will bring an advantage to your team. Sage has four special abilities: Healing Orb, Barrier Orb, Slow Orb, and Resurrection.
Healing Orb:
Sage’s first ability is Healing Orb. The ability works two ways: one is healing yourself by clicking the right mouse button and the other is healing your wounded teammate using the left mouse button. Remember to use the healing ability wisely as you only get one orb for every 35 seconds, and they don’t stack up.
Barrier Orb:
Sage’s second ability is Barrier Orb. This is a simple ability that allows you to cast a wall of ice to block the path, choking the enemies’ entry point. The Barrier has a lot of HP, so it takes time to destroy. You can use the Barrier orb under your feet to erupt a wall and boost you high to get above your opponents in some tricky boost spots, which give you an advantage over other players.
Slow Orb:
Sage’s third ability is Slow Orb. This ability allows you to cast a ball which, when you throw it, slows down every player in a circle around the ball. You can use it to block enemy movements and hear their footsteps if they push in through the orb’s radius. You get two slow orbs for 100 credits each and you can bounce them off walls to get a better advantage.
Resurrection:
Sage’s ultimate ability is Resurrection. This ability takes up seven ultimate orbs to use, and is one of the most important abilities in the entire game. Resurrection allows you to bring back a teammate from the grave, but make sure you use this at the right time. Use the ability to make sure you win the round, and never bring an ally back if your team is already dominating the round or if your team is almost defeated, as it’s a waste. You can always save the ability for the next round and resurrect for a crucial play.
