The Walking Dead Season 7 finale opens with a sweet scene with Sasha and Abraham. It looks like a flashback from the day Rick tried to bring Maggie to Hilltop’s doctor. Sasha kisses Abraham. She asks him not to go to Hilltop with Rick.
Now we’re back in Alexandria where Daryl has Dwight in a death grip. Dwight actually apologized to Daryl for doing participating the in Negan’s torture and killing Denise. Dwight says he wasn’t aiming at Densie. This angers Daryl, but he listens to Dwight. Rick decides to accept Dwight’s help. Dwight promises to do everything he can to slow Negan down.
Meanwhile Negan explains to Sasha what he has planned for Alexandria. She keeps repeating “no one has to die,” but Negan disagrees. Negan says three people have to die, but Sasha convinces only one person needs to die. Negan is impressed with Sasha’s persistence, so he agrees to her deal.
Then there’s The Kingdom. They’re not out of this fight! King Ezekiel and his troop run into Morgan. Ezekiel tries to convince Morgan to help fight, but he might need some more time to mourn Benjamin’s death. Morgan might need more time to fight.
Remember the Junkyard community? They arrived to Alexandria to set up for the big fight against Negan. The female leader asks Michonne if it was cool to have sex with Rick. It was pretty funny.
Then the big moment happened. Negan, Eugene and the rest of the Saviors arrive to Alexandria. Eugene gives Rick his options. Ricks asks where Negan is, and Eugene replies, “I’m Negan.” Well, FUCK THAT ASSHOLE.
And of course, Rick can’t have a win so it turns out the Junkyard community made a better deal with Negan. Negan starts to lecture Rick about doing what he’s told when he brings up Sasha. Apparently, he put Sasha in a coffin. Remember that pill Eugen gave Sasha? Well, she took it. Rick asks to see Sasha, who Negan thinks is alive, but she’s not. Walker Sasha comes out of the coffin.
Everyone starts shooting. Rosita gets shoot, Rick gets shot, and it’s not long until Negan has control again. Negan lines up Rick and Carl. Negan threatens to kill Carl, but Rick doesn’t care about the threat. Rick dares him to do it because if he does, he’ll go after Negan even harder. Negan prepares to swing at Carl when Shiva the tiger tackles one of his men.
The Kingdom and The Hilltop arrived to Alexandria to help fight Negan. King Ezekiel turned into the biggest badass and started shooting people left and right. Rick came out with a win, but lost many people during the first fight.
