The roster for WWE 2K17 is being painted live at E3 and swinging by the 2K booth today revealed that Sasha Banks will be included in this year’s wrestling game.
The Boss was excluded from WWE 2K16, along with the other three “Horsewomen of NXT.” While it hasn’t been confirmed if Charlotte, Becky Lynch or Bayley will be included this year, Banks’ appearance certainly makes it seem so. Charlotte was also pretty much a guarantee, seeing as how she’s held on to the Diva’s/Women’s Championship belts for so long now.
The painting also reveals two pretty obvious inclusions: John Cena and Ultimate Warrior. Of course Cena was going to be included, seeing as how he’s one of the biggest names WWE has ever had. Ultimate Warrior is a pretty cool inclusion too, even though he was featured in last year’s game as well.
WWE’s resident artist, Rob Schamberger, is currently hard at work on the showfloor to get this painting done. Those who will not be in attendance at the E3 showfloor can follow Shamberger’s updates through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
WWE 2K17 will be coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in October. No formal release date has been mentioned yet.
