There is now a new promotion from StockX which offers a single 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro Bundle for only a dollar, complete with the console and all of its accessories in the package.

StockX announced that as part of its "Midweek Heat" promotional event, their 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Pro bundle is available for only $1 for fans and buyers to bid on, starting today until midday on Feb. 14. The price is the cheapest there is for a PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundle, and it is also important to note that Sony only made 12,300 units of the special edition console.

The company will only charge users $1 plus applicable tax, and users may try out their luck in securing the latest console from Sony. StockX will not charge users who bid on the promotion, only its winner.

The bundle offers the PS5 Pro console itself that is wrapped with the 30th Anniversary edition skins, a DualSense Edge controller and its charging station, PlayStation-themed accessories, as well as a carry box for the controller.

Here's the Catch on StockX's Cheap PS5 Pro

This deal may sound too good to be true, and it certainly is as users have to rely on luck to win the $1 PS5 Pro bundle because StockX is holding a raffle promotion event and will only select one winner.

The good thing is that the many other users who joined will not be charged by StockX with the minimum bid they entered to join the event.

Is It Worth It to Buy the PS5 Pro?

Like almost all of the consoles that came before current available ones, Sony has delivered a "Pro" version of its gaming devices, which offers a faster performance and more capabilities in handling demanding titles.

Sony was slightly late when it released the PlayStation 5's Pro version as it was only made available in 2024, with the previous consoles released three years after the original's debut.

Nevertheless, Sony defied expectations when they shared the price tag of the PS5 Pro to the world late last year, as it offered one of the most expensive consoles in history. Despite this pricing, many have complained about the features available, and its lack thereof, as it missed out on a disc port for players to run their purchased physical titles and is constrained to digital games.

Additionally, it is expected that Sony is rumored to debut a new console, the PlayStation 6, by 2027, seven years after the original PlayStation 5 was released in 2020, as part of its usual lifecycle for gaming devices.
