Sony just unveiled the February 2025 games package lineup for PlayStation Plus subscribers, which includes some controversial picks.

The latest list of games will be available to Essential subscribers and will be available from Feb. 4, 2025, to Mar. 3, 2025. The first game on the list is "High On Life," which is a comedy adventure title from developer Squanch Games.

February 2025 Games Package

The game puts players in control of the protagonist, who is fresh out of high school but has no job and no ambition for anything great. However, an alien cartel suddenly appears and expresses its intention to invade planet Earth.

Players will have to team up with charismatic talking guns and answer the hero's call to become the deadliest intergalactic bounty hunter in the universe. You will be able to travel to a variety of different biomes and locations across the vastness of space.

Additionally, you will be able to encounter the nefarious Garmantuous and his gang of goods while collecting unique loot, meeting distinct characters, and much more, according to Gematsu.

The next game included in the February 2025 games package for PlayStation Plus is "PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC," which is a 2004-released remake of the original platformer. The remake includes an improved user interface, fine-tuned mechanics, and updated visuals.

In "PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC," players will take control of the titular Pac-Man, who arrives home on his birthday only to find the Ghosts took his family and friends. They also ruined his much-anticipated party.

Players will have to travel to Ghost Island in order to rescue Pac-Man's family and friends by dodging Ghosts and solving environmental puzzles.

The third game included in the February 2025 games package is "Payday 3," which is arguably the most controversial title here, Gaming Bible said.

The game currently has a "Mixed" review rating summary on Steam, with more than 40,000 reviews since it was launched. However, fans believe that Sony's selection of titles included in the latest package was somewhat of a safe choice.

In "Payday 3," players will be able to revel in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist. This high-octane, co-op first-person shooter experience can support up to four players online who will work together to make the operation successful.

Players will get out of retirement and once more head into the life of crime and the shoes of the Payday Gang. The game's story is set many years after the crew's reign of terror in Washington DC was put to an end, according to the PlayStation Blog.
