All you need to do is submit your hero’s name, ability, bio and appearance to comp@risingstargames.com. Alternatively, you can tweet your entries to the official Twitter account here (@88heroesgame). You can also follow the official Twitter account for daily character reveals to see which heroes will support you in your battle against evil Dr. H8.

The entries can be as elaborate or as concise as you like. The only necessities are a visual drawing of the hero, the hero’s name (no bad words allowed) and a description of the hero’s unique ability.

For inspiration, check out these heroes that are already a part of the game:

Gonan – Muscle-bound warrior wielding a mighty sword that’s slow to swing but can slash through scenery to create shortcuts

88 Heroes swaps you between heroes every time you die or complete a level. Players have only 88 minutes to complete the game, which features a chiptunes meets synthesizers soundtrack, random hero selection for a different experience each playthrough and Steam API integration that includes achievements, trading cards, leaderboards and cloud saves.

Developed by Bitmap Bureau and published by Rising Star Games, 88 Heroes launches on PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, Linux and Xbox One on August 8.
