FX recently announced that American Horror Story Season 6 will premiere Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. This announcement could give fans a clue as to when Season 5, American Horror Story: Hotel, will premiere on Netflix.
In several previous years, the previous American Horror Story season would begin streaming on Netflix several months after the premiere of the current season, typically in December. However, 2015 saw Season 4, American Horror Story: Freak Show , launching on Netflix the day before Hotel premiered on FX.
We wonder if the timing of Season 5’s premiere on Netflix will be similar. If the trend continues, American Horror Story: Hotel may begin streaming on Netflix Sept. 13. Usually, Netflix gives little notification of when popular, on-air shows will be added to the streaming service. There is no confirmation of a Netflix premiere for Hotel at this time.
American Horror Story: Hotel follows Lady Gaga as the Countess, a struggling heiress who has a vampire-like blood affliction, and lives in the haunted Art Deco Hotel Cortez. The Hotel is witness to a number of grisly acts including the plan is of serial killer John Lowe , the Ten Commandments Killer (Wes Bentley), and Devil’s Night , a Halloween party hosted by murderous ghost, James March (Evan Peters), where he reconnects with his serial killer prodigies upon their deaths.
At this time, little is known about American Horror Story Season 6, outside its premiere date and currently confirmed cast.
