The iPhone 5se will not come in pink, according to Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac . A report from Mac Otakara claimed Apple’s 4-inch iPhone will be available in Silver, Space Gray, and Bright Pink. However, Gurman responded to the report on Twitter .
According to Mac Otakara’ s third party sources, the iPhone 5se will come in a shade of pink similar to the seventh-gen iPod Nano or sixth-gen iPod Touch. Mac Rumors reported that while the Japanese site did not see or hold the device, its sources specified the color is not the same Rose Gold as the iPhone 6s.
The report did not say what colors will be available alongside the bright pink, but as Mac Rumors mentioned, it is strange to pair bright pink to the existing Space Gray and Silver colorway. Before the name of the 4-inch iPhone changed from the iPhone 6c to the iPhone 5se, rumors suggested the new smartphone would have brighter colors like the green, blue, yellow and pink of the iPhone 5c. Gurman reiterated via 9to5Mac that the upcoming iPhone is likely to be offered in Apple’s classic, premium feeling Silver, Space Gray and Rose Gold colors.
Gurman’s sources also report Apple may give the iPad Air 3, and the next-gen iPad Mini and 12-inch Macbook the same rose gold finish. However, Apple’s next-gen iPad Mini and Macbook will not be unveiled at the March 15 event. Apple will only announce the iPad Air 3, new Apple Watch bands, and the iPhone 5se.
Expect an iPhone that has features predominately resembling the 5s, but with curved glass like the 6s. As for the hardware specs, the 5se will reportedly have an A9 processor, Touch ID, Live Photos, Apple Pay support, and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
