The iPhone SE may be capable of shooting 4K video just like the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. According to an unverified Apple Insider tipster, Apple plans to release a video highlighting the iPhone SE’s video features. It’s unclear whether or not the promo ad will drop ahead of the anticipated Apple Event March 21st.
It was previously thought the iPhone SE would have features similar to the iPhone 5s with an added iPhone 6 flavor. However, it seems the predictions have switched. Each day, the iPhone SE starts to sound more and more like the iPhone 6s. The main difference between the SE and the 6, aside from the size, is that the SE will not get 3D Touch.
Just like the iPhone 6s, the SE is expected to have NFC capabilities for Apple Pay alongside a 12-megapixel iSight camera with Live Photo support. Apple’s latest processor, the A9 used in the iPhone 6s line that supports high-res image processing, will also power the SE. Apple will offer the same color options as the iPhone 6s: Silver, Space Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold.
Apple’s event will likely unveil a 9.7-inch iPad Pro (not the next-generation iPad Air 3) with an accompanying S mart Connector and new keyboard built to fit its smaller size. Apple Watch accessories, including new band option,s are also expected. Possibly iOS 9.3, too? According to MacRumors , KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts the iPhone 5SE will cost $400-500. Buzzfeed reports the event will be much smaller than last year, most likely held at headquarters in Cupertino.
Korean site Underkg originally reported Apple’s event would be pushed back from the 15th. The site claims Apple asked its employees to keep their schedules free from the 21st to the 23rd.
