Looks like team Arrow has even more trouble coming their way. According to TV Line , The CW is currently looking for an actor to portray a new villain for a recurring role next season. There’s no word on who this actor is yet, but the character is described as “irrepressibly charming.”

The villain's name is ‘James’, and he’s a “man on a mission.” TV Line’s description specifically states the man is a “contemporary” of Oliver’s, and he aims to avenge a traumatic loss from his past. The report reveals ‘James’ has a two-faced personality:

“Just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he’s more than capable of having a good time as he does it.”

The casting call reportedly asks for a physically imposing, 20-30 year-old man of any race. No word on what kind of special ability this character were have, or whether he’ll be more of a vigilante than a traditional villain. The casting call description gives us no distinct qualities to make an educated guess on this supposed villain’s identity. Whoever he is, he’ll be joining Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) who has also been promoted to a series regular for Season 5.
