Laurel Lance pledged that fateful night was her last as a Black Canary. She was all set to hang up her vigilante suit and accept a job as Star City’s District Attorney, but Damien Darhk was not going to let that happen. She perished before she could officially accept her new position, and now after a few months, Star City has found a new District Attorney. Adrian Chase, also known as the vigilante fittingly named ‘Vigilante,’ will take up the reins as one of Oliver’s closest allies as Mayor.
According to Deadline, Josh Segarra (Chicago P.D.) will join Arrow’s cast come fall, presumably also later replacing Black Canary’s role on Team Arrow as well. There sure is an open spot in the bunker, since it’s currently just Ollie and Felicity left in Star City.
Oliver will also be taking a second vigilante known as Wild Dog under his wing next season. Rick Gonzales (Mr. Robot) will play Jack Wheeler, an ex-marine, Punisher-style hero who needs taming. We’re still waiting to find out who the new big will be. Stephen Amell gave a big clue when he said he/she doesn’t have superpowers. Any guesses? Let us know in the comments below!
