The Invasion! crossover event marks Arrow’s 100th episode and the creative team is doing something special to celebrate. They are bringing back some fan-favorite characters. We’ll see Laurel Lance, Robert Queen, Moira Queen and Deathstroke come back to life in Arrow Season 5 episode 8, “Invasion.” Let’s hope Stephen Amell is keeping Tommy Merlyn’s cameo a secret….unless he’s already Prometheus, if so, well, that’s a whole other story.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD

You may be wondering how the fuck Black Canary, Robert Queen and Moira Queen are all coming back from the dead. The synopsis for Arrow ’s episode of the “Invasion!” event reveals it’s an alternate timeline that brings them back to the series… and it includes a moment we’ve all been wanting for five years. In this alternate reality, Oliver and Laurel are getting married!

ARROW CELEBRATES 100 EPISODES; THE EPIC SUPERHERO CROSSOVER CONTINUES — Oliver (Stephen Amell) wakes up to a life where he never got on The Queen’s Gambit. Robert (guest star Jamey Sheridan) and Moira Queen (guest star Susanna Thompson) are alive and well. Laurel (guest star Katie Cassidy) is his loving fiancée and their wedding is imminent. Everything seems perfect, but Oliver starts to notice small imperfections that make him question this new reality. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and the recruits take on a new threat with help from The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist).

The circumstances of Oliver’s new reality are still unclear. Flashpoint is the easiest explanation. The synopsis for The Flash episode the night before does say a shocking secret related to Flashpoint is revealed and “suddenly no one is sure who they can trust.” The synopsis does suggest it’s only Oliver who experiences this new reality while Felicity and and the rest of the team take on The Dominators. This means it could be sabotage. The Dominators are rumored to have mind-controlling powers. They could be using Flashpoint against The Flash’s allies as a means of distraction. It could also be Alchemy doing the same thing he’s done to Magenta, The Rival and Wally.
