Good news for those who love mobile games! The world of Pandora is arriving on Android and iOS through Avatar: Reckoning. This multiplayer online role-playing shooter makes its official debut sometime this year.
Avatar: Reckoning takes players to parts of Pandora never seen before. Players will meet the new Na’vi clans fighting to defend their home against the powerful Resources Development Administration. Like in the movie, the RDA troops are there to exploit resources. The game is developed using Unreal Engine 4, which more than ensures to deliver cutting-edge visuals for mobile devices.
The game has single-player story missions where everyone gets to level up their character and equip them with powerful weapons. There will also be co-op play, and players looking for a challenge can take on PvP game modes with innovative combat for touchscreens.

The Iconic Film
The game is based on the 2009 science fiction film written, produced, and directed by James Cameron. The film broke several box office records like becoming the highest-grossing film at the time. It held that record for almost a decade before it was beaten by Avengers: Endgame. It is the first film to have grossed more than $2 billion.
As a result of the film's success, two sequels were initially announced. Since then, it's been revealed that there will be four sequels with the first one to be released in December 2022.
Video Games
This isn’t actually the first video game based on the iconic film. There's Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, an upcoming first-person, action-adventure game, being developed by Ubisoft in partnership with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. The game offers a new standalone story where players get to play as Na’vi and go on a journey across the Western Frontier. It's going to be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia.
There is also another mobile game called Avatar: Pandora Rising. The game has players harvest resources, build a base, recruit iconic heroes, collect troops, and fight real-time battles. It's available on Android and iOS.
