Azur Lane has released its Tower of Transcendence update, which is also the fourth Iron Blood major event. It started yesterday and is set to end on January 12. There’s a lot for players to be excited about like the four mini-events, each having their own exclusive rewards. Prepare to meet new characters and enjoy the new goodies available at the shop.
One of the new mini-events is Fireworks Workshop where everyone can get the limited character Z28 for free by simply participating. Meanwhile, those able to complete Manjuu Curling can redeem the Afternoon Impromptu skin for Southampton.
The third one is the Tonic and Tea mini-event where players can get furniture pieces like “Model Royal Navy Teahouse” and “Model Iron Blood Café.” Finally, there’s the Blessing and New Year’s Invitation 2022 event. Here, players can acquire the “New Year’s Invitation (New Year 2022),” which can then be redeemed to get one of these 7 Super Rare Shipgirls:
- Illustrious
- Le Malin
- Victorious
- Tirpitz
- Essex
- Shoukaku
- Zuikaku.
New Characters
The update introduces five new Shipgirls, all Iron Blood members. The first is the Ultra Rare Shipgirl Ulrich von Hutten, who can fire a special barrage while giving a speed debuff to enemies. Her skill also increases Crit Damage done by Iron Blood ships and decreases damage taken by her faction.
The other characters are the two Super Rare characters Prinz Adalbert and Magdeburg and two Elite characters Elbe and U-1206. Most of the characters can be obtained through the construction pool, where Ulrich von Hutten, Prinz Adalberti, and Elbe have a rate up. Magdeburg, meanwhile, can be exchanged in the event shop or obtained as a drop in the event maps.
New Items
With the new update comes the new furniture set known as Port Café. This one allows Shipgirls to enjoy deep relaxation after a battle. Resource supply packs are also available for anyone interested.
Other new items include 20 new maid-themed skins like the Live2D ones:
- “Yes, Your Maidness” for Queen Elizabeth
- “Mayhem Maid” for Ulrich von Hutten
- “After-Hours Service” for Prinz Adalbert.
During the event, players can earn two rental outfit vouchers by simply logging in to the game during the event. Each voucher can be used on these skins:
- Ulrich von Hutten - Mayhem Maid (L2D)
- Prinz Adalbert - After-Hours Service (L2D)
- Howe - Pastry Princess
