Looks like there’s a new game joining the battle royale genre. GRIT is hoping that its Wild West theme is enough to excite players to try it out. Like games in this genre, players go against 99 other opponents in an ultimate showdown. The game is set to be released in Spring 2021.
In the game, players get to fight in three different game modes:
- Solo
- You will fight against 99 other cowboys in a large wild west map until only one is left.
- Duos
- You get to partner with another player and go against 49 other pairs to see who’s the king of the west.
- In this mode, players can help their partners get back up when they’re gunned down.
- Be careful though since you are exposed when helping your partner.
- Squad
- Form a team with three other players before jumping into battle.
- Be sure to stay together and more importantly coordinate.
Here are the other features of the game:
- Perk System
- Come up with the best poker hands and get special perks.
- Get specific hands to create different playstyles.
- Expect advantages and tradeoffs depending on the cards collected.
- Ride Through the West
- Bond with your horse, ride, and control your trusty steed.
- You can even use them as additional inventory especially since they let you stay mobile.
- If you think you have the guts, try to steal your opponent’s horse.
- Tools o' the Trade
- You get access to more than 20 weapons along with a wide range of cowboy equipment.
- Weapons are projectile-based so time to practice those shots.
- All Aboard
- Steal loot and a seat in the last train out of town.
