Battlefield 1 is uncharted territory – unfamiliar World War I weapons not found in other shooters make configuring loadouts a little more challenging. Should you equip a MP 18 Experimental or an Automatico M1918 Storm? A P08 pistol or a M11 1903?
The choices ultimately depend on your preferences, but for a more convenient way to weigh your weapon options, Eurogamer compiled an extensive list featuring the specs for every weapon. Parameters include Unlock requirements, Damage, Accuracy, Hip Fire, Control, Rate of Fire and Ammo capacity. The weapons specs are available for the primary weapons, sidearm, gadgets and melee weapons for all classes (Assault, Medic, Support and Scout) as well as special outfits that include Pilots, Tankers and Cavalry.
Eurogamer also notes that while Battlepacks will help you unlock new skins for your weapons, the weapon's stats will not change.
If you absolutely must study each weapon in obsessive detail, Symthic takes Battlefield 1 weapons stats even further. The "game science" website provides an extensive chart complete with bullet speed, damage drop off, mag reload speeds, recoil mechanics and spread from aim down sights and hip fire while stationary or moving in standing, crouching and prone positions. Check out the Symthic Battlefield 1 weapon chart for all weapon classes here.
For players that are in the early phases of the game, not all the weapons on the list are immediately available – you'll have to level up and earn War Bonds along the way to obtain them.
