The Berserk and the Band of the Hawk gameplay demo shown during the 2016 Tokyo Game Show has finally been localized for Western audiences, giving fans outside of Japan a better understanding of exactly what was happening in our most extensive look at Berserk to date.
The latest promotional video for Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is just under eight minutes long and follows the game’s protagonist, Guts, as he defends a village from an invading army. Almost everything in the new video has been translated to English, from the user interface to mission information and conversational subtitles, making it virtually indistinguishable from the version that will hit North American stores early next year. Granted, there probably aren’t going to be any big surprises in Omega Force’s latest musou game. But that doesn’t mean fans don’t want to be sure they understand they footage they’re watching. Fortunately, Koei Tecmo says the only difference between the footage in this week’s Berserk and the Band of the Hawk trailer and the version we’ll see in February is that the Western version of Berserk will include “ more gore. ”
