Microsoft’s Black Friday plans have been revealed for 2016. These deals will be available from Nov. 24 to 28 on xbox.com, microsoftstore.com or physical Microsoft Store locations.
Deals for new consoles include the Xbox One S starting at $249.99. Microsoft is offering a number of different bundles for the console, including Gears of War 4, Minecraft and Battlefield 1 bundles. Generally, if the console is a 500GB one, you can expect the bundle to be $249.99. If the console is a 1TB one, expect the bundle to cost $299.99.
If you need to restock on Xbox Live Gold, 3-month and 6-month subscriptions will be $10 off the typical price. Be sure to get Gold before making any game purchases, because select titles will be offering an additional 10 percent off for subscribers. Those with a Gold subscription already will be able to start accessing Black Friday deals as early as Nov. 18.
Specific game deals were not announced, but there will be over 250 deals on games for Xbox One and 360, and on movies and TV shows. Movies will start as low as $7.99, and TV shows will be upwards of half off the original price.
Other items on sale for Xbox One gamers include Xbox stereo headsets, which will be $10 off, extra wireless controllers will be $10 off, and if you want to go all out in the Xbox Design Lab, custom engraving will be a free add-on with your purchase.
