A set of new teaser trailers for the next Black Ops 3 expansion are now online, courtesy of the official Treyarch and Call of Duty Twitter accounts, and we’ve learned a couple of new details about the upcoming Salvation DLC from the first wave of promotional videos.
Earlier this week, Black Ops 3 fans learned the name of the game’s fourth expansion from a PlayStation Store advertisement served a bit earlier than originally planned. There was almost nothing to learn from the ad, other than the Salvation title, but it was enough to get fans talking ahead of next month’s Call of Duty XP gathering in Los Angeles. Now, a handful of new teaser trailers have confirmed the anticipated return of the original Call of Duty: Zombies team. All of the new videos seem to focus on the Zombies aspect of the upcoming expansion. But it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for any other major reveals.
Unfortunately, neither Activision or Treyarch made any official announcement regarding the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Salvation DLC, leaving fans wondering when we’ll start getting concrete details on the expansion. The current crop of videos confirm the Salvation title, and rule out a potential launch on last-gen platforms; however, we don’t get so much as a map name in any of the four Salvation teasers currently available online.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is currently on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The game’s next expansion, Salvation , is expected to hit PS4, Xbox One and PC before November.
