KartRider Rush+ has entered into a collaboration with LINE FRIENDS and is bringing in one of the members of the biggest K-pop girl band in the world. It’s none other than Kim Ji-soo, or better known as Jisoo.
LINE FRIENDS, in particular, is launching a video series that follows Jisoo as she designs many of the items to be released under the collaboration. Many of the items are inspired by Jisoo’s favorite nickname, which is Turtle Rabbit Kim. You can watch the first video below:
The actual collaboration starts March 19 and lets players take part in events and get the chance to earn those items mentioned. It’s going to end on May 11, which means there’s enough time to get the items, including extras.
In a statement, KartRider Rush+ CEO Junghun Lee said that they are more than happy to collaborate not only with LINE but also with Jisoo. He added that the game has long been known for a wide range of characters and tracks and they hope everyone can see what Jisoo has in store for everyone.
Jisso's created items aren’t only going to be available as rewards but are also made for purchase.
KartRider Rush+ is a free-to-play kart racing game released on Android and iOS. The game offers players tracks, karts, and of course, game modes. The game allows players of any level to play, from those new to racing and all the way to drifting champion.
LINE FRIENDS, meanwhile, isn’t a game but a mobile messenger app that claims to have around 200 million users. They have since entered collaborations with Netflix, the mobile game Brawl Stars, and even BTS.
Jisoo is part of the girl group known as Blackpink. They’re currently being called the K-pop Queens. Starting in South Korea, the group has since reached worldwide acclaim especially after their strong performance during the 2019 Coachella. This is not Jisoo’s first foray into mobile gaming. Back in September 2020, Blackpink joined PUBG Mobile.
