Our editor Mo isn't a fan of horses in Breath of the Wild, but maybe he just hasn't met one he likes. It's dangerous to go alone, and while a Master Sword is a great thing for Link to bring along in his quest to save Hyrule, sometimes players are looking for something that offers a little more companionship as well. A secret horse in Breath of the Wild, known as the Lord of the Mountain, features full stats and unlimited sprint stamina. Here's how you can find him:
You can find the Lord of the Mountain at the top of Satori Mountain, located near a large sakura tree by a small pond. However, YouTuber RRodGaming explains the Lord of the Mountain doesn't show up all the time, but only when there's a thick, murky blue fog that blankets the mountain. If the conditions are right, you'll find a glowing horse with golden wreath antlers surrounded by small animals that seem to be little glowing bunnies.

Because the Lord of the Mountain may not show up at Satori Mountain all the time, you might have to fast travel to the location more than once in order to catch him. The Mogg Latan Shrine is located on the southern peak of Satori Mountain, just south of three larger builders over the peak. The easiest way to find the Lord of the Mountain is by fast traveling there.
Finding the Lord of the Mountain is but half the battle. Save your game before you try to tame the special horse because it won't be easy. Max out your stamina, drink a stealth potion and equip bonus-yielding armor when you try to mount the horse. It's highly recommended that you have stamina-replenishing foods and items on deck as taming this horse will definitely wear Link out.
But is the Lord of the Mountain really a horse though? Its mythical aura and its rather droopy face says otherwise. What's more, Link can't register Lord of the Mountain at a stable either. Because of this, once Link leaves the Lord or the Mountain or enters a cutscene, he disappears. The only way to mount him is to tame him all over again
It may sound difficult, but what more do you expect from a Lord with this much personality? Check out RRodGaming's gameplay video below:
