Developer Fen Research's newest MMO RPG, Brighter Shores, has quite a few quests that players can take on right now before more are added in future updates.

Many of the quests in the game have useful rewards that make some parts of the game easier to manage. Others provide a hefty amount of experience points in one or several professions that put you closer to higher levels.

The Lost Shipment quest in Brighter Shores is a quest that players can undertake in Episode 1, Hopeport, that lets you take on thieves in the shadier parts of the area.

This guide tells you exactly how you can complete this quest and what rewards you can get from it.

How To Start The Lost Shipment Quest

Being a quest in the first episode, The Lost Shipment requires players to have some basic knowledge of the game as well as a solid combat foundation.

You can take this quest shortly after you create your character, but it would be better to have higher combat and better gear before taking it on seriously, according to Game Rant.

In order to start this quest, you first need to get 25 Fishing, 20 Guard, and have at least 11 Silver or more on your person. These are everything that you need in order to complete The Lost Shipment until the end.

You can get The Lost Shipment quest by talking to Cohen, who is located in the Brannof's Dining Room west of the Town Square. You are tasked with tracking down a stolen shipment and retrieving it.

How To Complete The Lost Shipment Quest

After you get the quest, you first need to talk with Captain Shirker, who is on the southern part of the map on his ship. You are also advised to talk to the local people at The Hooked Hand to gather more clues about the item you need to find.

After you talk to Captain Shirker, you can have him meet you at the Delectable Dab before talking more about the issue.

You should order a chicken pie and use small talk before asking him about the shipment, where he will tell you about a man in a blue waistcoat, The Gamer said.

You will find the man in question in the southwest part of the Town Square, who will tell you about The Illusion. He suggests that you disguise yourself as another person by getting a monobrow.

You can get a monobrow by traveling to the Hairdresser and paying them to change your look, which you can revert back free of charge after the quest. Now go to The Hooked Hand and remove all of your armor and weapons.

You can talk to either Wellington or Nelson, who are sitting together at one of the tables. When the dialogue option regarding Carthian plumbatae shows up, you should select it. You will find out that a man named Harris Slant can help you find The Illusion.

To save some time, you need to get a Fetid Flounder at the Overgrown Pond just west of Sea Road.

You now need to craft a message using an Ink and Quill and paper you can get from Captain Degreene's Office that says "Order 2 Carthian plumbatae," according to Sportskeeda.

Now bring the Fetid Flounder to the Frequently Fresh Fish Stall on Eel Street and sell it to the NPC for 98 copper. Go to the Bush nearby and select the Lurk Behind option to watch a cutscene.

You can now infiltrate The Illusion's hideout in Monob Row and tell the man at the door that you are Monobrow Sam. After you enter, you will have to face off two enemies: a level 30 Thief and a level 30 Furtive Stranger.

After you beat these enemies, a cutscene will play showing you that you have completed the quest and you will receive the rewards.

These are a Rare Carthian Plumbatae weapon, 15,600 Fisherman experience, 17,200 Guard experience, and access to Chef bounties for Sneaky Brian in the Thieves' Den.
