Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is showing players some love in the form of double Cryptokeys and Divinium today only. Whether you’re playing Zombies or standard multiplayer, Treyarch has revealed precisely when you can get the free bonus.
As the tweet below reveals, the double Cryptokey and Divinium event is live now and ends at 3:01 a.m. EST Feb. 15. Called Date Night, the promotion might be an appropriate stand-in for those who don’t have any elaborate plans on this international day of love.
For new Black Ops 3 players, Cryptokeys are the primary currency one receives for good performance in online play. Those keys can then be used to unlock Supply Drops that contain weapons and other awesome goodies. Divinium is specific to Zombies and is used to create mega GobbleGum powerups. With these benefits, you’re essentially offered the chance to dig deeper into both modes with a little less hassle.
This so-called Date Night event is yet another showcase of Treyarch’s continued commitment to Black Ops 3 despite the release of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare last November. With the Black Ops title being far more successful, Activision has chosen to keep 2015’s hype train rolling. As of now, a similar event has not been announced for Infinite Warfare or its companion game, Modern Warfare Remastered.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Date Night, however, will only be live on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
