Have you played Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War lately? If so, you’re probably aware that the Numbers Event is still ongoing. You can complete two unique sets of challenges that will give you a total of 19 unique rewards to earn, including the Okinawan dual-wield melee weapon, the Sai. Having said that, a new update has been deployed that just makes the game’s multiplayer aspect much better.
What’s New?
If you have played BOCW earlier this year, you’re likely familiar with the Rapid Fire Moshpit. But for those who haven’t heard of it before, it is a multiplayer playlist where Spy Plane scans are plenty and the ghost perk cannot be used, which means everyone on the battlefield will show up on the radar most of the time.
In the latest update, the developers have re-implemented that playlist and it is now better. The playlist consists of Domination, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint and they are set in some of the most frenetic 6v6 maps in BOCW, such as the Slums, Zoo, Echelon, Diesel, Miami Strike, Standoff, Yamantau, Hijacked, and Rush to the Rapid Fire.
In addition, you can expect a new Gunfight Tournament for a chance to earn more unique rewards. The 3v3 Gunfight Snipers Only mode will make a comeback in this week’s Featured Playlists.
If you are still looking to max out all of your Season 5 weapons, the devs will be holding a double XP weekend from September 24 at 1 p.m. EST to Monday, September 27 at 1 p.m. EST.
