There’s a lot of things happening in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and it’s all hands on deck. The call has been issued to all Operators as well as Requiem agents.
If you’re one of those willing to help, then join the fight once Free Access goes live today, September 2. This offer lasts until September 7 at 1:00 p.m. ET. During Free Access, PC players can download the game through Battle.net.
Multiplayer Mode
During the Free Access period, players can try out nine supported Multiplayer modes. There’s the Throwback Moshpit that features a selection of remastered Black Ops fan-favorites. Players can also compete in the newly added ones like the Echelon, Slums, and Drive-In maps.
Want to experience some mayhem? Then go ahead and take on Nuketown 24/7 and Face Off 6v6. Those who want to experience social game modes can play Party Games. Players can also test just how good they are through Gunfight Tournaments and Team Deathmatch.
Those looking for a challenge can drop into the Double Agent mode. Players can join the investigating team and discover who the Double Agents are and wipe them out before they wreak havoc on the mission. There’s also the choice to be the Double Agent and plant bombs while eliminating players.
Zombies
Free Access also introduces new players to the Dark Aether universe with the Outbreak experience in Zombies. Try out all the new additions in Season Five like the new region Collateral and get around with the Grapple Gun.
Keep the Progress
Once the Free Access period is over, any progress made is saved. Players can get access again after buying the full game. Those who buy the full version during the promotion period also get the Season Five Battle Pass and Free Tier Skips. Another piece of good news is that the game is offered at 50% off until September 6.
