Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare pros are taking part in the game’s first LAN broadcast at PSX 2016. Here’s everything you need to know about it including stream links, a full schedule, and some early reveals from the competition.
The PSX Invitational runs through Saturday and Sunday. The eight competing teams are Evil Geniuses, Orbit, FaZe Clan, Renegades, Elevate, Rise Nation, Luminosity and Eunited. All of these teams are recognized in the international Call Of Duty scene and will be battling each other over the next handful of hours. The winning team will receive a purse of $20,000.
The Streams : The event can be watched on the Call Of Duty Twitch and MLG site. We’ve embedded a link to make it easier.
Schedule : The tournament ladder is pretty self-explanatory since the PSX Invitational is fairly small, but we’ll outline it anyway. All times are in PST. Those using EST must skip three hours ahead.
Saturday, Dec. 3 :
- 11:30 a.m. – 2017 CWL Announcement
- 12 p.m. – Evil Geniuses vs Orbit
- 1:15 p.m. – FaZe Clan vs Renegades
- 2:30 p.m. – Elimination match: (Loser of EG/Orbit) vs (Loser of FaZe/Renegades)
- 3:45 p.m. – Qualifying match: (Winner of EG/Orbit) vs (Winner of FaZe/Renegades)
- 5 p.m. – Elevate vs Rise Nation
- 6:15p.m. – Luminosity Gaming vs Eunited
- 7:30 p.m. – Elimination match: (Loser of Elevate/Rise) vs (Loser of LG/Eunited)
- 8:15 p.m. – Qualifying match: (Winner of Elevate/Rise) vs (Winner of LG/Eunited)
Sunday, Dec. 4:
- 10 a.m. – Qualifying match
- 11:15 a.m. – Qualifying match
- 12:30 p.m. – Bracket Semifinal
- 1:45 p.m. – Bracket Semifinal
- 3 p.m. – Grand Final
Early Reveals :
- Updates to spawns, uplink, goals, bomb sites ands more are coming to Infinite Warfare
- There will be no weapon draft in CWL tournaments, only a Rig draft
- Call Of Duty Championship will take place in fall 2017
- There’s a total prize pool of $4 million for the 2017 CWL season
- Atlanta Open on Feb. 10, Anaheim Open June 16, CWL Lan League in Ohio in April
- All stage-two teams in the global LAN league will qualify for the championships
