The next trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is out and finally gives us a better idea of the stakes in the next military shooter from Infinity Ward. We also get a better explanation for the sudden war, and the surprisingly dire situation Earth’s military finds itself in, when the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare campaign begins.

The new trailer also has its fair share of star power, courtesy of appearances from Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington, who serves as the main villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, who will be one of Harington’s lackeys. From the looks of things, Harington will feature prominently throughout the campaign, similar to the role played by Kevin Spacey in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare . It’s not clear how large a part McGregor will play in the next CoD. We wouldn’t be shocked to learn it’s a non-speaking role though, like Marshawn Lynch in Black Ops 3.

The new Call of Duty trailer emerged just 24 hours after the UFC megastar published a teaser image featuring his character from the game. One day later, fans would get their first extensive breakdown of the incredibly dire situation we’ll see in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare when the game heads to PC and consoles later this year. Behind the scenes footage, featuring McGregor being motion-captured for the role, was also published on the fighter’s lifestyle website , too.
