Activision treated us with its hilarious Zombies in Spaceland trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare during Gamescom 2016. It's no secret that fans aren't impressed with Activision's upcoming shooter (more than 3 million dislikes on YouTube, second only to the Bieb's "Baby"), but it looks like the latest zombie trailer is a chance at redemption. Check it out below:
The Zombies in Spaceland co-op game mode features a campy '80s setting and introduces four new characters – Andre the rapper (voiced by Jay Pharoah), Poindexter the nerd (voiced by Seth Green), Sally the valley girl (voiced by Shasheer Zamata) and A.J. the jock (voiced by Ike Barinholtz). Via IGN, the four aspiring actors were invited by an eccentric director named Willard Wyler (voiced by Paul Reubens) for an audition, where they get zapped into this amusement park called Spaceland that is overrun by zombies.
"Prepare for the roller coaster thrill-ride of your life through the gnarly amusement park of Zombies in Spaceland," read the YouTube trailer's description. "Play as one of four classic 1980s archetypes in a radical, action-packed journey through an all-new ‘80s setting with a most excellent soundtrack from the era. Think you can survive the night?"
