Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has a brand new update, and the 1.08 patch notes reveal big changes. New weapons and customization items have been added to the multiplayer suite. Activision’s blog details what’s new.
Many of these weapons were revealed in leaks over the past few months, but now the content has been finalized and ready for use.
RANGED WEAPON COLLECTIONS
- Kamchatka-12: A Russian shotgun with an eight-round magazine
- XM-LAR: A European rifle that utilizes a 30-round NATO cartridge
- .44 Magnum: A six-round revolver with a stylized military grip and long barrell.
WEAPON KITS
- Huntsman: Gives snipers a ghillie or duct tape camouflage
- Lawman: A Wild West kit for shotguns
- Battle-scarred: An SMG kit that makes the gun look worn from battle
- CZAR: A gold LMG skin
MELEE WEAPON KITS
- Gladiator: A gladiator sword
- Hatchetman: A fearsome Military Axe
CUSTOMIZATION ITEMS
- Weapon camo sets: 31 new options
- Emblem sets: 39 new emblems
- Reticle sets: 39 new reticle sets
The 1.08 patch size has been confirmed to be 2 GB on PS4 and 8.8 GB on Xbox One. The update is live on PC as well. We don’t yet know how Modern Warfare Remastered has changed with regard to bug fixes, but tweets from last week suggest an improved server tick rate and adjustments to spawns, collateral damage and kill cams. The update also frees about 20 GB of hard drive space on Xbox.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s included in the Legacy Edition of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
