We know Activision's anticipated Call of Duty: WWII will return to its historic war shooter roots, but reports suggest the title will offer one of the more contemporary CoD game modes as well: Zombies.
Details are slim, but according to details from Activision via Call of Duty blog CharlieIntel, "The definitive World War II next generation experience also introduces Nazi Zombies, an all-new cooperative mode featuring a unique standalone storyline set during World War II that’s full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping action."
Nazi Zombies were initially introduced to the Call of Duty franchise in Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War title. The Zombie mode caught on among fans and later became a staple in Black Ops, Black Ops II and Black Ops III. It will definitely be interesting to see how Zombies will look like when WWII arrives Nov. 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Last month, we also reported on leaked Call of Duty: WWII single-player campaign details, including the profiles of four main characters: Daniels, Zussman, Rousseau and Crowley. Check out the character details here.
