The Sims celebrated its 24th anniversary. It's been that long since players were introduced to this life simulation video games series. Since then, we've seen a lot of simmers do what they want from finding themselves, building their dream homes, and even simply eating grilled cheese sandwiches.
To mark this newest milestone, everyone is invited to The Sims 24 While 24 event. It's basically a check list of 24 tasks that's going to take simmers on an adventure across The Sims 4 universe. The question that remains is how many tasks can simmers complete?
To take on the tasks, simmers need to have The Sims 4 along with some of the DLC. The tasks are:
- Woohoo Don Lothario
- Drown an enemy Sim in the pool
- Start a Fire
- Make 1000 Simoleons from a Side hustle
- Eat the Cowplant's cake (bonus: collect the essence of your discomfort)
- Befriend the Grim Reaper
- Have Twins (or Triplets)
- Unlock the Grilled Cheese Aspiration
- Transform into an Occult Sim
- Breed a new species of frog

The Sims was first released back in February 4, 2000. The series are basically sanbox games, meaning there isn't any define goals. Players create virtual people which are called as "Sims." These Sims can then be placed in houses with players being able to direct their moods and even satisfy desires.
The Sims 4 came out in 2014 and was initially available for the PC. It was later ported to consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017. One of the new features introduced in this new title was called The Gallery, which is an online content exchange for players. Here they can upload, download, and share, different Sims-related content like household, room, and buildings, to name a few.
