It's always fun to work hard and play hard with animal friends but it's even better in your very own stretch of land. You get to do just that when the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack arrives July 20 on The Sims 4. You get to raise, train, and of course, form special bonds with majestic horses. When you get skilled enough, you can even win awards at the equestrian center.
Those who buy this expansion pack before August 31 get a resonator guitar, wagon wheel art, and rustic rocking chair.
Raise and Bond with Horses
Once you get the expansion pack, you'll be able to have horses as part of your family. You can get new horses by buying or rescuing them and have them customize them through Create-a-Sim. Once you get your horses, you can let your Sims learn the Riding Skill and train your horses in Jumping and Agility skills. With these skills, it's possible for both riders and horses to get awards at the equestrian center. By the way, did we mention that foals can be born on the ranch? Overall, there's a lot of special interactions possible between Sims and horses.
While the upcoming expansion pack is focused on horses, they're not the only animals available. It's also possible to care for mini sheep and mini goats, and invite neighbors so they can enjoy the cuteness.
Make a Life
Living on a ranch also means that the animals are clean and happy. You can harvest those Prairie Grass and feed it to your animals. Don't forget to collect horse manure to fertilize plants, and maybe later make your very own nectar that you can then sell.
Be Social
Living on a ranch offers beyond animals and plants because there are moments of peace and solitude. However, that doesn't mean you have to avoid the social scene. Head to town and meet friends at the bar or blow off some steam at the dance hall. If you want to make the most of your horses, go to the equestrian park to train. If that isn't enough, host events like dances or cookouts on your own ranch.
