A new gameplay trailer for Star Trek: Infinite has been released and it gives us a look at what to expect. It invites players to take on an exciting adventure through space and puts them in the middle of the conflict between the powers that control the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
While the game takes inspiration from Star Trek: The Next Generation, the story doesn't focus on one ship. Players are put in command of one of the four major powers: the United Federation of Planets, Romulan Star Empire, Cardassian Union, or Klingon Empire. Each of these major powers has its own individualized traits, stories, and quests, making their play unique.
