You can take a peek at the gameplay along with key features through the trailer below:
In Cities: Skylines II, players get the chance to build detailed cities at an epic scale. Making things more exciting are economic systems which give players choices that can have a ripple effect on the entire city. There are also dynamic maps set in different biomes to offer opportunities and challenges for city builders.
Players can look forward to high-fidelity visuals focused on the beauty of cities like never before. In addition, a new feature has been added where each citizen has their own individual life, including household, occupation, and even relationships. This should make cities feel even more alive. Of course, players can also see how their choices have affected the lives of citizens.
Here are some of the things to expect:
- Epic Scale, Endless Possibilities
- Build a thriving metropolis without compromise.
- Players can build sky-high and across the map to realize their dream city like never before.
- Cities That Come Alive
- Follow the lives of individual citizens, from love and loss to wealth and well-being.
- Players' decisions shape the lives of their city's citizens.
- A Dynamic World
- Pick a map to set the climate and biome of the city.
- The natural forces will shape the growth of cities as they contend with rising pollution, changeable weather, and seasonal challenges.
In a statement, Colossal Order CEO Mariina Hallikainen revealed that they're giving players an unmatched level of freedom in managing the city and its population. Hallikainen went on to say that players should be able to realize the vision that they have for urban utopia like never before.
More details about the game will be released in the coming weeks.
