Clash Of Clans events keep rolling on, and it’s officially the weekend of the Witch. As per recent tradition, there’s a steep training discount and a special challenge to complete. Coming up next week is a Healing spell promotion. Keep reading for all the dates, times and details!
First and foremost is today’s Witch highlight. As shown in our screenshot below, the cost to add Witches to your army will be a lot lower over the next few days. How steep that discount is will increase proportionally with your Town Hall level. If you’re looking for some free gems and experience, the challenge is fairly simple. Just win three multiplayer battles with at least one Witch in your forces. Doing so nets 300 experience and 30 gems. The event appears to end late Sunday.
Arriving around Tuesday is a Healing Spell Event. The specifics aren’t revealed yet, but, given past events, we suspect a similarly proportional Elixir discount with no associated challenge. The same was true during last week’s Jump Spell Event.
With regard to strategy, the Witch is your go-to support troop in Clash Of Clans. Her Skeletons can be pesky enough to overrun even skilled opponents if she’s able to stay alive. Surround her with Giants to make sure she’s able to do her dirty work. The same tactic basically works on defense too. With the discounted training cost, you might even be able to amass a huge Witch army with so many Skeletons that it’s impossible to contain. In other words, completing that challenge should be pretty easy.
Events were added to Clash Of Clans in the game’s December Update. So far, Supercell has done a good job of featuring many underused troops and spells at steep discounts.
