Announced during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct - alongside numerous other highly anticipated titles - the classic PlayStation RPG Legend of Mana is coming to modern gaming platforms on June 24, 2021.
Returning fans of the Mana series and Legend of Mana specifically have a lot to look forward to with the new remaster. Apart from high-definition graphics that transport the classic RPG title to the modern gaming era, Legend of Mana HD will also have a ton of new quality-of-life features, improvements, and even a brand-new soundtrack. For those who loved the original soundtrack, developer Square Enix has been kind enough to allow users to switch seamlessly between the remastered soundtrack and the original.
Released for the original PlayStation in 1999, Legend of Mana will soon be available for the first time ever to modern audiences and on next-gen platforms. Fans should be for the HD remaster coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC via Steam on June 24.
Legend of Mana is the fourth installment in the Mana game franchise that began way back in 1993 with Final Fantasy Adventure for GameBoy. Legend of Mana is still celebrated as one of the best JRPGs of all time even being over two decades old and completely alienated by the modern audience. The compelling plot, colorful and well-developed characters, a fantastic soundtrack, and what was then groundbreaking gameplay are what made this video game a rare gem in the industry. The game may shine once again with the help of tech innovation, better graphics, and new features.
