The day has arrived, and the Age of Sorcery is now in Conan Exile. With this, players can now experience their most anticipated feature: Sorcery. Unlike in other fantasy games, here, it’s all about delving into dark corruption. Sacrifice life force to get access to corrupted sorceries that can turn the tide of battle or even help dominate the Exiled Lands.
Age of Sorcery isn’t just the biggest free update since the game was launched but it’s also the first that introduces a new model. This latest change allows for robust new gameplay and features, which are added for free while players can continue to support the game through paid cosmetics tied to a Battle Pass and item shop.
Meanwhile, future updates follow the theme of Ages and contain several chapters. The biggest change though would have to be the number of choices available to players when building their character.

- Players can now specialize their character further than ever before by choosing between two powerful perks at every other attribute milestone.
- Those who choose the dark path of sorcery can also infuse their strength, vitality, and authority with corruption.
- Putting in enough corruption points to reach a perk milestone, that perk is replaced by a special sorcery perk.
- Explore different builds whether you are a barbarian, sorcerer, or even something in between.
- Building Interface and Overhaul
- Building has received its very own dedicated interface.
- This makes it quicker and easier than ever to build on keyboards and controllers.
- There’s no need to craft building items since they're crafted directly from the interface.
- Creative Mode
- Players can now build the way they want.
- This mode is accessible directly from the main menu.
- The new Creative Mode grants players freedom to build without costs or restrictions.
By the way, this is also a good time to jump into the game since Conan Exiles is free to try on Steam from September 1 to September 8. Xbox players also get the same chance from September 8 to September 11.
